Project Description

Monaghan and Carroll Ltd - Building Contractors, were appointed main contractors for this three storey building containing four independent retail units and eight two bedroom appartments.

This site was quite restrictive as it contained adjacent buildings each side, with a public road to the front and the Tullamore river at the back. Also a preservation order was on the front facade of the old building which had to be retained. The primary works consisted of; 

~ Demolition works and retention of front facade.

~ Site clearance and erection of concrete frame building structure.

~ Installation of concrete 1st and 2nd floors and concrete staircases.

~ Complete electrical & mechanical installations.

~ External finishes and shop fronts.

~Internal finishes, painting and decorating.
